Prerequisites

Prerequisites are conditions that provide the basis for the emergence of a new phenomenon, but do not necessarily cause it.

They can also be economic, political, ideological, spiritual, mental.... We teach you to distinguish between objective and subjective premises. Objective conditions do not depend on the will of people. Subjective ones arise from the activities of specific people, social groups of society. Along with the prerequisites, the concept of a "factor" of historical development has recently been widely used. When using this term, its meaning is explained. A factor is a force that has a significant impact on the character, individual features, the direction of the historical process or the fate of the country as a whole (geographical, climatic, ethnographic, geopolitical, religious, personal, psychological, mental, etc.). Students should distinguish the prerequisites and causes of phenomena from the cause. The meaning of the term is also explained. What is it?

An occasion is an event that accelerates the emergence of a new phenomenon (this is a kind of impetus in the development of the phenomenon). Thus, the prerequisites prepare, the factors influence, the causes cause, the occasion accelerates the development of events. All circumstances together influence the course of history and the development of events. To understand them, at least to get closer to the truth, it is necessary to try to find out all these circumstances. So it turns out that the knowledge of history is much more difficult than the study of exact sciences. The guys should also understand that any phenomenon in history leads to some kind of changes - consequences (leaves its "mark" in history). A consequence is something that was generated by a previous phenomenon, event. To establish an investigation means to find out not only the immediate outcome of an event, but also its impact on the further course of history. (For example, the industrial revolution is the immediate result of the transition to industrial production and industrial development. Long–term consequences are global environmental problems. War communism ensured the victory of the Reds in the civil war and gave rise to the crisis of the spring of 1921.) Each event is, in fact, both the cause and the effect of some other phenomena.
